I'm A Down to Earth Kind Of Girl

Oh, but look at me. All rambling on and on and I haven't even introduced myself. That's so me! I'm shy and don't really know what to say sometimes, and so I just kind of talk and talk about nothing in particular if I feel shy. But my name is Adele. And yes, before you ask, I do love Adele. I mean how can you not? I really, truly love her, and I think my favorite song by her is actually Skyfall. You know, the James Bond song? So many reasons behind that one. I mean, it's just so moving. Her voice is incredible! And it's to James freaking Bond!! I grew up with two brothers and my dad. My dad instilled James Bond into us at an early age. Every year for Thanksgiving we'll end up watching a James Bond marathon. So Adele singing a James Bond song just kind of connected with me. Plus Daniel Craig is in it! Love me some Craig. Why can't I meet guys like that on my OKCupid dates? Gotta hold out hope, you know! And maybe you're just like him!

I Love Las Vegas

But yes, I'm a pretty down to earth girl. And I'm plenty shy. Just because I'm talking doesn't mean I'm not shy. It's just what I do. Really hard to explain. But once I start to feel a bit more comfortable I settle in. I'm an outdoors kind of girl. Not like big game hunting like that. I'm not that outdoors. Maybe I should say I like to spend time outside. Go for walks. Hike when I can and just be in nature. There's something so soothing about it. Las Vegas is a noisy place. And while I like it, I also need to just get out of the noise once in a while. I try, maybe once a week, to get out to one of the local parks and just be there. Do you ever do that? Or do you have that one special place where you can center yourself? I'm always curious what that place is for people. Because I think we all have one. It just kind of depends on where we came from.

I'm a Midwestern girl. Although some people say I'm a Great Plains girl. I'm kind of confused where one begins and one ends. People also say I'm that girl next door type. I also don't get that, because I'm pretty sure every girl was the girl next door at some point. Both pretty and ugly and nice and mean. Saying I'm the girl next door is kind of like saying I'm a girl. Last time I checked (shaving this morning) I'm a girl. Ha! Oh and now I'm getting into a bit of my naughty side. Trust me, once I start to feel comfortable with you, you'll be amazed at some of the naughty things I say.
